The Lydian Singers are a local, friendly ladies' choir which rehearses on Tuesday evenings during term time 7.30pm - 9.30pm in the Wesley Hall at the North Camp Methodist Church, Lynchford Road, North Camp, Farnborough GU14 6EG. Access to the hall is via the car park entrance.
We work on a new selection of music each term which climaxes in three concerts a year at Christmas, Spring and Summer times. The majority of our concerts are in aid of a local charity.
New members are always welcome and there is no audition necessary! The ability to read music is an advantage but it is absolutely not a requirement! Our music is usually in 2, 3 or 4 parts. If you enjoy singing and would like to give us a try then please contact us for more information or just turn up at our rehearsal where a friendly welcome awaits you!
We will welcome all new members the same but at the moment we are particularly keen to have new Soprano and Mezzosoprano voices. If you are not sure which section would suit your voice best then we will be happy to advise you.
Membership fees are currently £72 per term payable in advance each half-term (£36 x 2) - you are welcome to come and sing with us for (up to) a two week trial before officially joining us!
